Radiation

Radiotherapy or radiation oncology is the branch of medicine concerned with treatment of tumors with high energy X-rays.

Whole or partial liver irradiation is infrequently used in the treatment of liver cancer. It is not effective and can actually be more harmful to the patient, causing radiation hepatitis and fatality.
